An ex-display couch is a sofa that has been used as a showroom floor model by a furniture retailer. It has never been used in a private home. When retailers refresh their showroom stock, these pieces are sold off — often at 40–70% below their original retail price. They are structurally new, with minor cosmetic wear from being on display.
